AVP Commercial Lending
Luke Paulson is AVP – Commercial Lending at First Resource Bank, progressing his banking career from both credit analyst and portfolio manager/lender at the Bank. Prior to working with First Resource, Luke worked for five years with a large national banking organization as Operations Manager.
Luke was drawn to First Resource Bank because of its leadership, team and positive culture. “It’s a team-driven environment. It doesn’t matter what position you hold; everyone works together towards the ultimate goal of making a great customer experience.” Luke also applauds the Bank’s outstanding leadership style and the support they give to everyone on the team.
Luke attributes his strong work ethic and personal values to the guidance and unconditional love of his parents. “My dad is the smartest person I know. Having worked in banking for 25 years, he has been a major influence and guide in my professional career. My mom has the best heart and has taught me much about people and about life. From her, I learned to see things from different perspectives, and to treat everyone with kindness and respect, whether a stranger or a best friend.”
Luke graduated from Concordia College with a degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Finance. When away from work, Luke enjoys spending time with his wife and two amazing kids. A self-proclaimed sports nut, Luke also enjoys football (Skol!), hockey (Go Bruins!) and playing golf on the weekends.
